Biography:
Dr. John Lam received his B.Sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Queen's University in 2003, 2006 and 2010, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at York University, Toronto. His research interests include high frequency power converters with soft-switching techniques, wide-bandgap based power electronics, renewable energy applications, power management and advanced control techniques for high frequency converters.
